CORPORATE Message

NPR-RIKEN CORPORATION has been established through the merger of RIKEN CORPORATION and Nippon Piston Ring Co., Ltd. on October 2023.

Both companies were founded as piston ring manufacturing companies and have contributed to the development of the global automotive industry for many years. Amidst the ongoing, once-in-a-century transformation of the automotive industry, we believe that we have various roles that must be fulfilled, such as continuing to provide better performing, higher quality products, make steady contributions to the achievement of carbon neutrality, which is a common global challenge, and strengthen and develop new products and business fields. Under the circumstances, our group will seek to maximize the synergy effects of the merger as quickly as possible, and based on our group mission “Build the competencies and capabilities to sustain our present and future,” will make creations that has never been done before by combining the technological capabilities and wisdom of both companies in order to move on to the new stage.

To maintain the trust of our shareholders, customers, suppliers, employees, local communities, and all of our other stakeholders, we will fulfill our social responsibilities for the creation of a sustainable society. We will also work as one to continue to take on challenges in the pursuit of growth to further increase our corporate value.
